I want a business that I can do from my home and I can choose my own hours. An online thing would be fine but I am unsure what is legitimate and profitable for me. Any suggestions?

You will know if something is legit if they are registered with the BBB and the money you put in is guaranteed. When looking for a company it’s important that you investigate these 4 criteria:
1) The company should offer unique and consumable products (that people use on a regular basis vs. a one-time purchase)
2) It should offer the ability to leverage your time – so you can eventually get paid for more hours than you could work on your own.
3) It should be in line with todays market trends – think health and wellness
4) Large expanding target market – think babyboomers.

I have been working with Fauxture Couture which is a designer inspired jewelry company since last September. I love them because my customers do not have to order anything. They buy the jewelry right from you, you have your own showcase of jewelry. It’s cash and carry so to speak. You get 100% return on your money. You buy the jewerly from Fauxture at wholesale cost and sell it at retail cost. For example, you would by a necklace from them for 17.50 and sell it for 35.00….you get your investment back plus make 17.50….another example would be a neck set for 22.00 and you sell it for 44.00….so it is a 22.00 profit for you etc. I have so many parties and regular clients at this point that I can quit my day job!!

Since you are not thinking of getting work-at-home job but home business I think you better think about doing foreclosure agent, consumer direct marketing business or recipe business. If you have some money think about ebay too.
