Six Figure Income Online: Can It Be Done?
One of the questions I get quite often is : Can I really make a six figure income Online? I usually respond to that question with a few followup questions of my own for clarification. I need to understand where the person is at currently, specifically their mindset. If they believe they can make a six figure income Online, they have a pretty good chance of doing it. If they don’t believe, it almost certainly is not going to happen. There are key items to consider when planning on making a six figure income Online.
1. The 8000 Plan: In order to make a six figure income, you will need to average a little over $8000 a month. This means you must be making $8000 this month, or be heading in that direction. If you find the $8000 a month figure hard to fathom or imagine, your six figure annual income will most likely be way out in the future. It is hard to make $8000 each month if you have not ever made $8000 in any month.
2. What is your earning history? This is directly related to the previous point. To make this kind of money requires a plan.If you have never done it before then you need to learn what it takes and follow the plan. If you have made six figures before, getting back there will not be too difficult. You must believe you can do it. If you believe you can do it, then you can do it.
3. What are you making now? If you are making little or no money Online at this time, getting to $100,000 a year may be a big challenge to go after right away. It is fine to set lofty goals, but you want to have some success along the way. A goal of an $8000 month may be more realistic for you at first. You are the only person that knows your motivation and drive to get to a six figure income. Most people need positive reinforcement along the way.
4. Residual income: This is the key to making a six figure income. If you are only able to make money when you make a sale, you will have a very difficult time reaching your goal. If you can continue to get paid over and over on one sale, now you are on your way. The key is to get paid this month for work you did last month and the month before that, etc. This is how you get your income to grow over time. Residual income is a big key to keep in mind.
5. Do you have a real live business? This may seem like a weird question, but it is a valid one. Are you running a real business or are you just doing whatever it takes to bring in some money? If you are running a real business, you are treating it as a business. This one factor alone will keep you on the right path to success and a solid six figure income. Selling high quality, in demand products to happy buyers that rave about your customer service is an indicator that you have a real business. If you are not selling products to real customers, I have to ask you where is your real live business.
6. Do you have a well written business plan? Once you have a solid business, you must have a well thought out business plan. If you do not have short term and long term goals, you need to take the time and get them. If you have no plans to meet these goals, it will be very difficult for you realize a stable, six figure income for your business.
It is vitally important to put these simple but important points into account when you are putting together your business plans. Your plans are your marching orders on how you are going to attain your goal of a six figure income. Without them, you will find yourself wandering without a firm direction. Always remember, no plans usually translate into no success. Take the time to set goals and make sure you understand your personal plan for success.
